These are the best AM/FM survival radios we have found! These radios may be powered by several sources. First, they have built in Ni-Cad batteries, and a compartment for additional spare batteries.  They can be powered directly by the sun via the built-in solar cell.

The Ni-Cad batteries can be charged by several sources including the solar cells, an optional AC adapter (available from Radio Shack), and by a built-in generator hand crank!  No kidding!  These radios have a built-in generator!  Just turn the handle for a few minutes, and the batteries are charged!

The built-in flashlight comes with a clear lens, and a red lens.  The light also has a "blink" mode.
